Who We Are
We are a philanthropically funded nonpartisan nonprofit organization of civil society and academic professionals. We deliver high impact education and policy analysis from our experience in the fields of national security, international law, development, religious liberty, human rights, and humanitarian action.
We partner with U.S. government and non-governmental organizations to maintain the bipartisan mandate in the U.S. Women Peace and Security Act of 2017, grounded in foundational American principles and human dignity.
We advise policymakers in the United States and abroad on today’s toughest challenges and provide inspired responses to critical challenges and threats to women’s human dignity.
We are committed to our sisters all over the world, seeking to help them find innovative and collaborative ways to build peace, human freedom, and prosperity through their leadership in family, community, and society.
What We Do

Educating the national security workforce on women’s meaningful participation in conflict prevention, preservation, and peacekeeping through our curriculum development and teaching at the Department of Defense.

Amplifying the voices of women and girls in crisis and conflict settings through publications and media.

Protecting, supporting and healing survivors of religious persecution and other vulnerabilities by reaching across political, religious, national, and ethnic lines.

Ending impunity for sexual violence and human trafficking and helping mothers and their children born of sexual violence to thrive through advocacy, policy and legislation in the U.S. and at the United Nations.
