Our Services
The American Council on Women, Peace, and Security (ACWPS) is dedicated to common sense policy that avoids harm to women and girls and promotes human flourishing. Our work encompasses a wide range of activities, including defending the bipartisan mandate of the U.S. Women, Peace and Security Act of 2017.
ACWPS offers targeted education and training programs for U.S. and international military personnel, Congressional staff, federal agencies, and select clients. Our curricula covers foundational American foreign policy principles, counter-trafficking, counter-terrorism, demographic decline and great power politics, international religious freedom, among other areas. A key focus of our training is alignment of U.S. foreign policy concerning families, women, and children with foundational American values.
Scholarship and Policy Analysis
Our council excels in providing expert policy analysis. This encompasses academic research, support for legislation, and profound political and social commentary. With a track record of delivering sober analysis and testimony to the U.S. Congress, federal agencies, and international organizations such as the UN Security Council, ACWPS is a leading voice in advancing common sense approaches to U.S. foreign policy concerning women and girls.
ACWPS projects help address urgent and emergent issues for women and children in crisis and conflict environments. Through these engagements, we strive to keep out divisive agenda that take focus off of those most in need, foster subsidiarity and solidarity with those whom policy affects, and provide a place where various viewpoints can be shared in an honest and transparent manner.
ACWPS champions the cause of ending impunity for sexual violence and human trafficking through outreach, collaboration with civil society, speaking, and writing. We aim to amplify voices left out of mainstream discourse by amplifying voices of those affected by crisis and conflict and shedding light on their struggles and triumphs. We advocate against harmful and divisive social policies. We support survivors and their children with direct aid and assistance such as prenatal and maternal supplies, funding the re-roofing and lighting of a school, and working with young people to help them live a lives of excellence and service to others.
